Catherine Lenora McKenna grew up as an only child, the daughter of Angus McKenna. She lived with her father and aunt Kirstin, her mother's sister who came to live with them after her husband died. Catherine takes it upon herself to go looking without telling Angus.

This has been a very heartwarming series from beginning to end. Angus has struggled with the decisions he made for 18 long years, now that he's told his daughter the truth he has to deal with the consequences. He has hopes that if Catherine does find her sisters, will she, and her sisters, ever forgive him for making the decision he did, knowing in his heart that may never happen.

Lena does a beautiful job writing about this subject and telling the feelings from all sides. All three of these books kept me up late and not wanting to put them down. I would encourage anyone that likes Historical Fiction, Christian Historical Fiction, etc. to purchase this series (all three books at one time), believe me you will want to pick up the next in the series as soon as you finish the previous one.

The very touching conclusion to a wonderful series. Catherine's Pursuit wraps up the story of the McKenna sisters. This story shows how God does work miracles.
I just finished the last two books of this series and I was not disappointed. L D Nelson writes books that are entertaining and hold your interest. She writes a good feel good story.
I absolutely loved this book. I hope there will be another book or two or three to continue the saga. I would love to read about Maggie & Catherine's weddings.
Excellent story in its entirety but a wonderful conclusion to the companion books in the trilogy of the sisters coming of age and adventures in search of belonging
Recommended for anyone of any age, a story the entire family can enjoy.

Lena Nelson Dooley shows in this book why she’s one of the great storytellers of America. Her characterization of men and women is extraordinary!
I enjoyed reading the series of three sisters separated at birth. The author's style is engaging and easy to read. Though the romance isn't as strong in this book as with the first two, the characters are all memorable. I'd made up my mind not to like Catherine as well as Maggie and Mary because she was the rich one, but I found that by the end of the book she came across as loving and forgiving. The way the author shows the great love of a natural parent in giving up his children for a better life is inspirational.
