Amazing novella! Wynters had me hooked from the very beginning, creating characters that I could easily relate to. The main character, Tabitha, is an eighteen year old who has just graduated high school and is trying to figure out what to do with her life. She's working a dead-end job as a cashier at the local grocer when the zombie epidemic begins. She races to find her family and together with other survivors tries to learn what's happened.

"The world had went to hell, but at least I'd have pretty toenails."

Chock full of humor and suspense, I couldn't set this book down. I read it in one sitting and cannot wait for its sequel!

I wasn't sure what to expect from this book. But I was pleasantly surprised at how much I really liked this book. It kept my interest and made me want to read the second book.
Okay but I wish there was more action. Guess you can't complain since the price is pretty good but I won't be buying more books in the series.
I enjoyed this book, it left me wanting more! I'm looking forward to phase two. There are interesting, questions, that I'm, looking forward to getting, answered.
This story started out pretty fast, I found myself pushing through with ease to see what happened!! It actually was a very fun read, and I hope that there is more on the way!!!
I downloaded the sample first and was intrigued enough to buy this very short book, more novella in length. However, my interest quickly dimmed with the thin plot and character development. I won't be buying any more in the series.
Odd. I liked this book. But I forgot to write the review. Here it is, four days later, and I'm having trouble remembering what I liked about the book. I'm even having trouble remembering much of the story. I remember not setting it down for long, which is always a good sign. I do recall I thought the ending was a little bit of a anti-climax, but it did leave me wanting to read more.
So ... I do a search for zombie novels with a female protagonist and come across this series. I'm sitting there reading it, thinking it's pretty juvenile when all of a sudden -- BAM! IT'S OVER! Then I noticed on the bottom of the kindle,page that it's a 54 minute read! Plus ... the gal's just seen getting people torn to pieces and eaten, but she is still getting hot and bothered by the guy who lives next door? Nah. Leave it for the Tweens.
